Saveavet Financial Reports
Since our founding in 2007, we have worked as an all-volunteer organization. No one has received a penny in salary or other compensation throughout that time.
Even with the numerous facilities we have opened throughout the years, we still will be an ultra-lean organization carefully shepherding every penny as we move forward to rescue military and law enforcement working dogs and other animals who can no longer serve.
Here are our Form 990 reports filed with the IRS for each year of operation along with associated documents:
IRS Financial Search Tool
At Saveavet we adhere by a set code of principles and beliefs. Amongst those are transparency. We believe that non-profits should always make their financials available for review and, although anyone can search the IRS website for a copy of filings, sometime people have trouble locating this tool.
In recent years, although we are still in good standings, we have not received some of our tax returns back from the federal governments yet we remain in good standings. So, to help with transparency, we are posting this link so that you can search the IRS website yourself and see the posted standing of the organization and have the ability to search for other organizations you support.
When you click on the "IRS Charity Search" bottom in orange it will take you to a page similar to the photo on the right.
